Ivan Sysoev is one of the defining voices in Cyprus's rise as a global technology hub and, by the account of the island's press, its first Chief AI Officer. He is Head of AI at ECOMMPAY, where he sets the AI agenda for a regulated international payments company, and advises businesses and their leadership on what AI changes once it leaves the slide deck. Having grown up in Cyprus, he works where the local ecosystem meets the global industry. He co-leads the TechIsland TechPro Community, has organised the largest hackathons in the country's history, is a fixture on the stages of its major conferences, lectures at Cyprus University of Technology and shaped TechIsland's contribution to the National AI Strategy 2032.
